Mark Gronowski building leadership role

The starting quarterback is usually the leader on every football team. For a graduate transfer like Mark Gronowski that means when you arrive in January then you have to microwave the leadership front. For Gronowski that meant spending time with the offensive lineman on what was sort of a retreat in Missouri. It also meant taking a group of receivers to Dallas to workout with his throwing coach in the past month.
Gronowski met with the media on Wednesday to discuss those trips and also his visit to the Manning Passing Academy for the second straight year and what he learned from Payton and Eli during his time there. He also talks about his leadership growth with the Iowa team, how much throwing he has done since April, and much more.
