Mark Gronowski airs it out in victory

After struggling in the first two games of the year an not cracking 100 yards, Mark Gronowski had what would be considered a breakout performance on Saturday, throwing for a pair of scores and nearly 200 yards in the win over UMass. In fact, he was red hot out of the gate and rode that to a 47-7 victory.
Following the win, Gronowski spoke to the media about the hot start and finding Sam Phillips on the second play of the game an scoring a touchdown on the third play of the game. He shares when Iowa offensive coordinator Tim Lester told him that they might be throwing it more this week and what he reacted to when he did it.
