McNeil makes college decision

Running back Nathan McNeil has made his college decision. The 5-foot-11, 195-pound Tampa native announced his verbal commitment to the Iowa Hawkeyes on Saturday night one week after visiting campus.
“My decision came mostly down to how Coach Betts has developed players already and how he can develop me to become a better player,” said McNeil. “I also like the culture, the fans, and the environment of Iowa. The fans have been showing me a lot of love even in Tampa with people asking me for pictures.”
