Omar Young not tipping hand on Iowa running backs
While most followers of Iowa football believed that they know who will be carrying the ball this fall, the guy who will make most of those decisions hasn’t made a decision. That person is Omar Young, who took over as the Iowa running back coach this winter after Ladell Betts left for a job in the National Football League, says that he hasn’t made a decision on the starter or the pecking order in the backfield.
We spoke with Young at media day and he is not tipping his hand, but he has plenty of praise for every back that he has in his room this fall.
