The Iowa Football team needed a bounce back in a big way and they got it done in blowout fashion, defeating UMass 47-7 on Saturday. They wasted no time building a lead with three touchdowns in the opening quarter, with Mark Gronowski tossing a pair of touchdown passes to Seth Anderson. The highlight of the game came with the game in hand. In the third quarter, already leading 30-7, Kaden Wetjen fielded a booming punt from UMass punter Keegan Andrews and returned it 95 yards for a touchdown. It was a historic win, as it vaulted head coach Kirk Ferentz past Woody Hayes for the most wins all-time by a coach at a Big Ten school. He has won 206 games as head coach at Iowa, including a 2-1 start this season.
