Tavion Banks sees Iowa intensity rising
While he wasn’t commenting on his legal issues over the weekend, Tavion Banks was more than happy to discuss his second year playing for Ben McCollum. Last year he joined the program at Drake and carved out a role in the rotation for the Bulldogs. This year he is expected to assume an even bigger role at a wing forward for the Iowa Hawkeyes.
We spoke with Banks about what he has seen this summer and into the fall from McCollum and one word came to mind to him and that is increased intensity. He talks about how the Hawkeyes are getting after it at a high level in practice and in the weight room.
