Taylor Stremlow honored to be a captain
Being elected to be a team captain is a huge honor for any athlete. Being elected by your teammates to be a team captain when you are a sophomore who doesn’t start is a rarity. That also speaks extremely highly of the leadership abilities of Taylor Stremlow, who was elected to be a team captain this year by her Iowa teammates.
Stremlow spoke at media day about being named a captain and what it meant to her. She also talks about how she appears to be everyone’s best friend on the team and how she always seems to check in on her teammates on a regular basis. Plus, she fills us in on what she has seen from her new teammates.
