Tory Taylor continuing to refine his punting skills

Tory Taylor has been one of the best punters in college football since the day he walked into Kinnick Stadium for his first ever game against Purdue. He has averaged over 44 yards per punt in each of his three seasons at Iowa and has had 95 of his 202 (47.0%) career punts downed inside the 20 yard line. Pro Football Focus graded him as the fifth-best (of 40) punter in the country that kicked at least 60 punts last season. Taylor could have left early for the NFL, but opted to return for another season in Iowa City and will continue to be a weapon on the Hawkeye special teams unit.
Tory met with the media on Tuesday to talk about his excitement for preseason camp, losing some weight in the offseason, why he chose to return for one more season and what he is working to improve ahead of the season opener in September.
