WATCH: Jan Jensen, Hawkeyes talk early season progress
A new season is just underway. The Iowa Women’s Basketball team got the regular season going with an 86-51 win over Southern on Monday and will be back in action on Sunday against Evansville. It’s still really early in the year, but the Hawkeyes have showed promise, particularly in the frontcourt with Hannah Stuelke and Ava Heiden. Tougher tests will arrive later in the month to see where this team really stands.
On Wednesday morning, head coach Jan Jensen met with the media to discuss what she saw on film after breaking down the win over Southern, what she’s seen from a leadership perspective on the roster, Chit-Chat Wright’s impact and more.
