WATCH: Molly Davis talks time at Iowa, coaching at Evansville

It’s not very often that a member of the opposing team’s coaching staff gets a standing ovation at Carver-Hawkeye Arena, or any arena for that matter. However, when it’s Molly Davis returning as a member of the Evansville coaching staff, anything less than a standing ovation would have been a disappointment. A two-year player for the Hawkeyes after transferring from Central Michigan, Davis was a part of both of Iowa’s Final Four runs and was a crowd favorite.
HawkeyeReport caught up with the former Hawkeye and now grad assistant at Evansville caught up with the media after the game for a few minutes. She talked about her appreciation for her time at Iowa, reflecting on playing on two Final Four teams and what the transition to coaching has been like for her.
