Xavier Nwankpa feels at home at free safety
For the first three years of his Iowa career, Xavier Nwankpa was the Hawkeyes strong safety. While he played well there, in his heart he knew that moving to free safety was where he wanted to be. This spring, the in-state standout made that move following the graduation of Quinn Schulte.
