Buzz: Assistant hires I think Collin Klein makes at Kansas State
Buzz on Kansas State (in terms of inside intel) is relegated to our message board at KSO but still spills out the best information on the Wildcats in the market, both from a team and K-State recruiting standpoint.
A lot happened on Wednesday. News began to surface that Chris Klieman was retiring and would be immediately replaced by Collin Klein. And unfortunately it broke as the Wildcats, and Texas A&M for that matter, were attempting to sign a recruiting class.
That wasn’t great timing.
But I’d argue it’s never the wrong time for Collin Klein to get his shot as the new head coach at Kansas State. And fortunately we’re going to have the liberty to watch that and cover that the next handful of years.
The logical next step? Who will join him and be part of his first coaching staff? We have three assistants that seem pretty likely.
