Thoughts can be very negative when starting 1-3, and it’s only natural for conversations and chatter to persist among players about the direction of the team. Are there negative rumblings, any speculation or does the K-State roster still seem determined to resurrect the 2025 season?

Unfortunately, a product of college sports is where a team with high expectations is met with the reality of a failure, a 1-3 start for K-State in this instance, and there’s an opportunity for some to fold up without punishment or repercussion.

What do we mean by this? You can still redshirt if you’ve played four games or less. That means you can maintain a year of eligibility if you think this year is already lost. Will any of the Kansas State contingent choose to do this?
