Our Kansas State buzz comes via a message board post at KSO and digs into all sorts of relevant topics in Wildcat land. Last week I mentioned which items of the K-State offense being hyped up I believed in for the 2025 season.

It is time for the opposite. There’s been a lot of positivity thrown around for the Kansas State program. That’s just what happens during an offseason. Which parts am I a bit more hesitant to believe in and give credence to for the upcoming year?

I start with the potential for growing pains out of the gate and explain why.

I’m not hiding my reluctance on the next item. Something that stunned me a bit last year was it appeared that K-State sometimes didn’t know how to help one of their most dangerous playmakers get loose or make an impact.

That’s Dylan Edwards. He didn’t seem to settle into a role or get the space on the field that I was expecting. Does that change under Wells?

We provide a hint below of what’s inside.

  • Why is the first part of the Kansas State schedule a bit scary?
  • What is the plan for Edwards?
  • K-State position groups that could start slow.

That is just a taste of what can be found in our Kansas State team and recruiting content on a weekly basis throughout the calendar year. There has never been a better time to join the largest community of K-State fans on the internet that converse and discuss the Wildcats on a daily basis.
