Buzz: My biggest concern for Kansas State moving forward

Our Kansas State buzz comes via a message board post at KSO and digs into all sorts of relevant topics in Wildcat land. My first point surrounds quarterback Avery Johnson and his performance against Iowa State in the opener.
Quite frankly, I was pretty critical of Johnson’s play in the immediate aftermath of the loss in Ireland. I thought he underwhelmed and didn’t live up to expectations. I’ve since reversed course of that notion and explain why.

While I was wrong to so harshly judge Johnson’s play in Dublin, Ireland, the team as a whole gets no passes. There was a collective downfall by the Wildcats, and it’s time for K-State to look in the mirror before it is too late.
Some of the trends and continued failures are no coincidence. What part of Kansas State football troubles me the most?

Head coach Chris Klieman is right. It’s time to move forward. As fans and as media, we can dwell on the loss and let it linger. The K-State roster can’t, or else they run the risk of being the next Florida State or Nebraska that faltered overseas in week zero.
