Our Kansas State buzz comes via a message board post at KSO and digs into all sorts of relevant topics in Wildcat land. Training camp is over in Manhattan. Which K-State players got hyped up the most, either publicly or behind the scenes?

We look to the offense first. Matt Wells wants to score a lot of points. One of his quotes from last year (when he wasn’t actually the play-caller) was that the Wildcats wanted to throw to score and run to win. I’m all for that.

We identify five offensive players that have received the most praise.

Five on offense, five on defense seems fair, right? I’ll be honest, it wasn’t on purpose. But there’s been five standouts on the defensive side of the ball for K-State that have been well-decorated this offseason as well.

Bonus: We have special teams scoop, too! The vibes have been a little better lately on the third phase of the game, even since we spoke to the guy in charge, Nate Kaczor. Kansas State has to be better than last season. Who’s stepping up?
