Full Kansas State basketball schedule released for 2025-2026 season
With the announcement from the Big 12 on Tuesday, Kansas State now knows its full schedule for the upcoming season.
The Big 12 is returning to an 18-game schedule for conference play, which means the Wildcats will face three teams in the league twice. They will play the other 12 teams just one time.

Notes on the Schedule
- Sunflower Showdown: Kansas will visit Kansas State on January 24th, a Saturday, to kickoff the annual series. The return trip to Lawrence will be on Saturday, March 7th. The final date of the regular season. It will be one of the longer layoffs between meetings in a while for the two squads.
- Farmageddon: K-State will only face Iowa State one time in 2025-2026, it will be a home contest on February 1st. It will be a standalone Sunday game in the Big 12. It will also be the only Sunday game for K-State this season.
- Traditional Days: Aside from the Sunday game with the Clones, K-State will only play conference games on Saturday, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, the usual Big 12 days of the week.
- Two Times: It was already known, but in addition to Kansas, the Cats will face TCU and West Virginia twice this season.
- Arizona Long Weekend: K-State’s second game of the conference slate will take place in Tucson against a nationally ranked Arizona squad. The Wildcats will presumably stay in the desert and make the trek to Tempe on Saturday.
- Home Stands: Twice during Big 12 play Kansas State will get back to back games at home. January 20th and 24th against Utah and Kansas, as well as February 28th and March 3rd to face TCU and West Virginia.
- CU Events Center: Kansas State will return to the former Coors Events Center in Boulder to face Colorado on February 25th, a Wednesday. The first trip to Boulder for basketball since February 12th of 2011.
