Kansas State adds running back Tanner West

Kansas State is rolling on the recruiting trail in the 2026 class. Katy, Texas running back Tanner West has committed to Kansas State.
West was one of 14 visitors in Manhattan over the weekend. With plenty of visitors in The Little Apple there is a potential for a lot of fireworks. Who could be next? Stay tuned. The running back was also one of nine visitors from the state of Texas at Kansas State this weekend.
The running back had a bit of an under the radar recruitment. He was offered by K-State back in February. The Wildcats kept working and forming a strong relationship with the Katy native.
West visited Kansas State in the spring and really enjoyed being around running backs coach Brian Anderson. Shortly after the spring visit the Texan scheduled an official visit for May 29. While on the visit he enjoyed his time so much he decided to pull the trigger and commit to Kansas State.
