Kansas State hires Chase Driscoll to staff

Jerome Tang and Kansas State have once again announced a new hire to the basketball staff in Manhattan. North Florida assistant Chase Driscoll is the new Director of Video and Analytics, replacing Franklin Miskelly who accepted a coaching job at Louisiana-Monroe.
Driscoll is the second new addition to the coaching staff in the offseason. K-State had already announced the arrival of assistant Bill Peterson – who will be more in charge of player development as a support staffer have stints in the NBA, Baylor and the University of Denver.
The Wildcats have had two members leave the staff in the offseason, with the first being Ulric Maligi after he departed for Texas. Though Kansas State has already made two hires, we do still anticipate them making a third which will ultimately be the associate head coach or lead assistant.
Driscoll, the new hire, spent four seasons with the Ospreys of North Florida, actually as an assistant under his father and head coach Matthew Driscoll. Matthew, before leading the Osprey program, was an assistant at Baylor with Tang for six seasons (2003-2009).

“I’m incredibly honored to join the Kansas State men’s basketball program and grateful to Coach Tang for the chance to be a part of his winning culture built on hard work and accountability,” said Driscoll in a release from the school. “I’m excited for the opportunity to live life with the staff and the people of Manhattan. I am looking forward to helping our team prepare, compete, and win at the highest level. Ready to get to work!”
Tang is also pumped to have him aboard at K-State.
“I’m fired up to bring Chase Driscoll on board as our new video coordinator,” said Tang. “His eye for detail, passion for the game, and work ethic make him a huge asset to our program. I can’t wait to see the impact he’ll have on our preparation, player development, and overall success.”
