Kansas State lands offensive lineman Keegan Collins

Kansas State continues to heat up on the recruiting trail. Amarillo, Texas offensive lineman Keegan Collins has committed to K-State.
The announcement from Collins comes on the heels of an official visit to Kansas State over the weekend. He was joined by 13 other prospects in Manhattan this weekend.
Collins’ recruitment with K-State happened rather quickly. He was offered by the Wildcats on March 20 via new offensive line coach Brian Lepak. Shortly after the scholarship was extended he scheduled an official visit to Manhattan originally slated for June 12-14.
Collins then took his first trip to the Kansas State campus on April 12, and the Wildcats knocked it out of the park, as he called it the best trip of his recruiting process. After a bit of time, he rescheduled his official visit to move it up on the calendar.
It was then he pulled the trigger and committed to K-State.
Collins held other offers from Arizona, Arkansas, Arkansas State, Boise State, Florida Atlantic, Lamar, North Texas, Oklahoma State, Sacramento State, Texas State, Texas Tech, UCF, UTEP, UTSA and Washington State before committing to Kansas State.

It was a head-to-head Big 12 win for the Wildcats over the Red Raiders. Collins had already taken an official visit to Texas Tech and did so on May 9.
We have said it a few times now, but Lepak is really hitting the ground running as the offensive line coach at K-State. He has now landed three prospects since getting promoted to offensive line coach in February.
His relationship with Collins put the Wildcats over the top. Collins also adds to a long history of offensive linemen at Kansas State who have previously camped in Manhattan.
Overall, the Texas native is commitment No. 6 in the 2026 class for K-State. He joins the class already consisting of cornerback Brandon Ford, offensive lineman LaMarcus Barber, linebacker DJ Ackerson, offensive lineman Oliver Miller and running back/athlete Tanner West.
