Kansas State lands Swedish DT Adrian Bekibele

After a bit of a hiatus, Kansas State is back on the board in the 2026 recruiting class. Stockholm, Sweden defensive tackle Adrian Bekibele has committed to K-State.
The announcement from Bekibele comes after an official visit to Manhattan. The defensive tackle was one of four official visits this weekend for the Wildcats, along with a few other 2026 prospects who are committed elsewhere. Could there be more fireworks in the works? It is very possible.
Some recruitments are a slow burn and some are a sprint. Bekibele’s was much, much more of a slow burn. He was a relative unknown until June in regards to Kansas State, to be completely honest. He is part of a group in Europe (PPI Recruits) which tours the United States.
They go to camps over the summer at various schools. The defensive tackle is a captain for the Swedish national football team.
Bekibele performed at Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State and Nebraska during the summer months. The Bulldogs offered the Sweden native for the second time, actually. He had camped at Georgia in 2024 and received an offer from the Bulldogs then as well.

In 2024 during his tour of schools with PPI Recruits, Florida offered the newest K-State commit as well.
Bekibele held offers from Buffalo, Florida, Georgia and Sacramento State before committing to the Wildcats. In all honesty, it was really just a one team race, with Kansas State way out in front towards the end of this recruitment.
The Wildcats went through all the logistics to make this recruitment happen and have now been rewarded with the verbal pledge. Bekibele is the second defensive tackle in the 2026 K-State class. He joins Oklahoma native Kingston Hall, who committed to Kansas State June 14.
