Kansas State lands three-star QB Miles Teodecki

It may be fair to say the dam is breaking for the 2026 Kansas State recruiting class. K-State has now landed its quarterback of the class in Austin, Texas signal-caller and highly-decorated lefty Miles Teodecki.
The announcement from Teodecki comes shortly after an official visit to Kansas State over the weekend. 14 prospects in total were in Manhattan over the weekend, and K-State is in favorable position for others. Could more commitments be on the horizon? Probably.
Some recruitments are marathons or a slow burn, some are a full-fledged sprint. The recruitment for Teodecki was a sprint in every sense of the word. He was offered by Kansas State about two weeks ago during the contact period.
The Wildcats pushed for the three-star prospect to make the trip to Manhattan last weekend, and he enjoyed his time so much he decided to commit.
After a bit of a slow start in the cycle, K-State quarterbacks coach Matt Wells gets credit for locking in Teodecki. His relationship with the Lone Start State recruit before offering played a major role in how it was able to unfold so rapidly

Teodecki’s recruitment was really just starting to get under way.
He held offers from Yale, Brown, Cornell, Penn, Princeton, Harvard, FAU, Coastal Carolina, Colorado State, UTSA, Texas State, Fordham, North Texas, Cincinnati, UTEP and Wyoming before picking Kansas State.
It is also interesting to note all but two of his offers came since January, so he was starting to get more recognition from schools.
This past season the junior led Vandegrift High School to a 6A D2 State Championship with a 15-1 record. He tallied 3,290 yards passing and 52 total touchdowns, with 48 coming through the air while completing 70 percent of his passes.
In total, the quarterback is commitment No. 8 in the 2026 recruiting class.
