Kansas State officialy unveils 2025-2026 non-conference basketball schedule

Kansas State made its 2025-2026 non-conference schedule official on Monday. The K-State men’s team will play two exhibition games before embarking on a 13-game slate.
Highlights include the third season of Jerome Tang’s tenure starting on Tuesday, November 4, in Bramlage Coliseum, when UNC Greensboro comes to Manhattan.
The first four games of the season will be at home, with UNCG followed by Bellarmine on Saturday, November 8. The return game with Cal from the 2022-2023 season will be played on Thursday, November 13. The home stand ends with a matchup against AAC foe, and PJ Haggerty’s former squad, Tulsa, on Monday, November 17.
Following the start to the season, the Wildcats will play three games outside of Manhattan. Two in the Hall of Fame Classic on the Thursday and Friday prior to Thanksgiving week. They will see NCAA Tournament participant Mississippi State on Thursday, and face either Nebraska or New Mexico on night two.
Then it is off to Bloomington, Indiana where Kansas State will meet with Indiana for the 32nd time in program history. The most recent game was in the 1998 Maui Invitational, and this is the first schedule matchup since a 1985-1986 trip to Bloomington. K-State and the Hoosiers were regular non-con opponents in the early 80s, playing each year for six straight seasons.

K-State returns home for a pair of buy-games and another power conference opponent to start December. Transfer Marcus Johnson will get to face his former squad on December 1, as Bowling Green comes to town.
Out of the Big East, Kansas State will face Seton Hall on December 6 and then a second straight season of matching up with Mississippi Valley State. The Delta Devils ranked 364 out of 364 in KenPom last season.
Another Big East matchup will comence with Creighton in Omaha on Saturday, December 13th. Then the final two non-conference games will be played on December 20 & 28 respectively against South Dakota and UL-Monroe.
