Nuggets: Are scheduling decisions hurting Kansas State?

Nuggets on Kansas State (in terms of inside intel) is relegated to our message board at KSO but still spills out the best information on the Wildcats in the market. It is time to look forward and re-examine K-State after a 1-3 start.

Something that hasn’t been too touched on since his episode last year against Kansas where he had to be taken to the locker room and hydrated is the health of Kansas State head coach Chris Klieman. I share my recent observations and information on another incident.

Can scheduling be to blame partially for the K-State recent struggles? Klieman, much to the objection of many, recently stated that the tough part of the schedule behind them. Clearly he didn’t mean the caliber – North Dakota, Army and Arizona.

Many tougher opponents are on the horizon. But he was likely speaking to the circumstances. I touch on that and if a mistake was made by Gene Taylor and the brain trust at Kansas State.

There will be no press availability this week. It is a bye week of course and Klieman has given everybody time off in that regard. What are our thoughts on that, as there is typically at least one session even during bye weeks.
