Nuggets on Kansas State (in terms of inside intel) is relegated to our message board at KSO but still spills out the best information on the Wildcats in the market. K-State is on their first bye week of the year, but we don’t take a day off.

I begin by sharing why I am reassured about the vibes I am getting from the Kansas State locker room. Just knowing how they interact with one another, what has happened in games and hearing from Avery Johnson and Marques Sigle has me feeling good where it’s at this season.

Unfortunately, not all news is good news. And something we learned from the game against Oklahoma State is that the secondary issues just aren’t going away. Jacob Parrish was great. But questions about the rest of the group remain.

Another problematic sighting was the late injury to K-State nose guard Uso Seumalo. He has been injury prone throughout his short career in Manhattan, and he had to be helped off the field in the fourth quarter on Saturday.
