Our Kansas State recruiting scoop moving forward will now be via a message board post at KSO and sponsored by our friends at MyPerfectFranchise.net. We thank them for their partnership and supporting the Wildcats and our site at On3.

After what will be fairly empty in-state crop to the 2026 group, with the only K-State commits at home being Lawson McGraw and Lamarcus Barber, the Wildcats will work to make the local territory a priority in the 2027 and 2028 classes.

Some of the state’s best will be at Kansas State for visits at the beginning of the season.

A handful of defensive tackle targets have surfaced for K-State, including those committed elsewhere like JD Hill (Northern Arizona) and Darrius Simmons (Cincinnati). Even an international prospect is in the equation.

Who gets in the class?

I’ve said it a few times now and feel strongly about it. The best environment of a Kansas State home game this season will be when they host Texas Tech. The Red Raiders are this year’s Big 12 viral sensation and the game circled on everyone’s schedule.

That means a high-profile visitor list for the Wildcats.
