Recruiting Scoop: Kansas State devoting attention to high school targets

Just like in college football, the basketball roster and scholarship numbers will be modified a bit under the house settlement agreement. Assuming no other changes are made or litigated, teams will be able to carry as many as 15 players and be able to place all under scholarship.

Speaking of Tang and recruiting, K-State has also re-directed attention back to the high school Class of 2025. They struck out with a handful of targets like AJ Dybantsa, Darryn Peterson and Cam Ward, but they’ve pivoted to less-heralded prospects that provide upside.

The actual first addition for the Wildcats came before the offseason began. Tyreek Smith left Memphis because of disagreements over NIL, not too dissimilar to what happened over a year ago between Ques Glover and BYU.
