Recruiting Scoop: Kansas State seeking to hang onto RJ Collins

Our Kansas State recruiting scoop moving forward will now be via a message board post at KSO and sponsored by our friends at MyPerfectFranchise.net. We thank them for their partnership and supporting the Wildcats and our site at On3.
Conference play began with a dud last week when K-State fell to BYU. They’ll shift focus now to Oklahoma State in a pivotal game for both teams as they try to avoid an 0-2 start to league action when they meet in Bill Snyder Family Stadium.
Guess who will be in town? Kansas State defensive back commit RJ Collins of Staley High in Kansas City. Remember, he’s also being courted by Lincoln Riley and USC. Is a visit to the Los Angeles campus still in the plans?

Collins won’t be the only K-State visitor of the weekend, obviously. Some of it may be contingent on those that can make it work since it is an 11:00 a.m. kickoff. But a heavily-recruited quarterback may be in Manhattan to see the Wildcats host the Cowboys.
