With the Class of 2026 close to full after a busy summer, K-State can devote more and more recruiting attention to the younger classes. They’ve begun to make traction with several 2027 recruits, with a four-star prospect from out of state expected to make it to Manhattan soon.

The 2024 cycle in the Sunflower State was one dominated by Gus Hawkins, Kaedin Massey and Michael Boganowski. The three were identified early by K-State and other regional programs and carried those lofty rankings throughout the duration of the process.

Why do we expect 2027 to be similar?

Ok, enough of 2027. Not really, as those prospects will be in the spotlight for the next year and a half, but it’s going to be fun to follow the 2028 group. That will be the first outstanding in-state group in quite a while, and the Wildcats will be active with them.
