Kansas State is on the board for the second time today and third time already this weekend in the 2026 recruiting class. Loganville, Georgia safety Hannibal Navies has committed to K-State.

The announcement from Navies comes on the heels of an official visit to Kansas State. He was one of nine official visitors this weekend. The Wildcats have now landed three prospects from the weekend. Could another be in the works? It is very possible.

Navies a bit of a newer target of Kansas State, but not necessarily a sprint of a recruitment. He was offered during the April contact period by K-State defensive coordinator and safeties coach Joe Klanderman. Shortly after he was offered by the Wildcats, Klanderman went down to Georgia to visit the safety during the May contact period which take place May 6. After his time with Klanderman, Navies scheduled an official visit for this weekend and shortly after his time in Manhattan, he pulled the trigger on Kansas State.

The junior safety held offers from Colorado, Bowling Green, Miami (Ohio), Buffalo, Arkansas State, Florida Atlantic, Eastern Tennessee, Mercer, Kennesaw State, Arizona State, Florida International, Middle Tennessee, Coastal Carolina, UNLV, Jacksonville State and Georgia Southern before committing to the Wildcats. It is tough to pin down who the win for the Wildcats is over on the recruiting trail. Once he was offered by Kansas State, the junior changed his recruitment up to be a Wildcat.

The junior safety is commitment No. 12 in Kansas State’s 2026 class. He joins the class already consisting of the class already consisting of cornerback Brandon Ford, offensive lineman LaMarcus Barber, linebacker DJ Ackerson, offensive lineman Oliver Miller, running back Tanner West, offensive linemen Keegan Collins and Justin Morales, quarterback Miles Teodecki offensive lineman Bennett Fraser, Oklahoma defensive tackle Kingston Hall and Missouri defensive back Garrick Dixon.
