What I'm hearing: Conversation about the Kansas State QB run game

What we’re hearing on Kansas State (in terms of inside intel) is relegated to our message board at KSO but still spills out the best information on the Wildcats in the market, both from a team and K-State recruiting standpoint.
At this point, the “us versus the world” mentality and approach that I wrote about earlier in the week is coming to fruition. We already heard about it from Kansas State head coach Chris Klieman and his players on Monday.
They are gearing up to block out all the outside noise. That only becomes part of the discussion and something you say when things aren’t going well, though. However, it’s also something they need to be doing and should have been doing all along.
Remember when I chatted about the distractions and that they weren’t controlling what they could control, focusing on the wrong stuff and not making the main thing the main thing. It was all foreseeable. And now we’re hear with the Wildcats 1-2 and nearly 0-3.

Can they reverse the scuffle? It’s time to prove everyone wrong, as annoying as that sounds.

It’s being chatted about in every corner of the K-State web. Why isn’t Avery Johnson running more and why hasn’t he been effective? It’s even catching national headlines at this point, as he hasn’t even hit the 100-yard mark total across three games yet.
I delve into the topic and share my thoughts on the matter.
