What I'm hearing: Will Dylan Edwards play again this season

What we’re hearing on Kansas State (in terms of inside intel) is relegated to our message board at KSO but still spills out the best information on the Wildcats in the market, both from a team and K-State recruiting standpoint.
A lot of conversation surfaced last week about the availability of Kansas State running back Dylan Edwards, and while it was centered on his injury status and if he could give it a go versus TCU, it extended to if he’d suit up again this year.

He did not in fact play against the Horned Frogs, seen on the sideline in street clothes and in a walking boot. But seven games into the season (where K-State is 3-4), he has played four games. That happens to be the cut-off to still redshirt and not lose a year of eligibility.
Rumors swirled about that very topic this week. What is the latest chatter?
