MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY
My thoughts on taking a lot of transfers … Posted by Rosiecane
I will never think taking 15 transfers a year is the right move if you can recruit h.s. kids at a high level. It prevents you from maximizing the high school kids you can take, plus I’m sure it leads to more younger guys transferring bc they feel they’re being recruited over by older kids….not to mention it’s not sustainable, you’ll never land enough quality transfers every year to make up for all the transfers the year before., if your goal is having a championship contender every year (which it better be at Miami)….there’s a reason you don’t see the top teams doing that, ie Georgia, Bama, OSU, Michigan etc….
Now if we get all impactful, free agent transfers, it helps your argument i grant you…for this year, but still not sustainable going forward. We should maximize Mario’s h.s. recruiting prowess!
