WHAT’S UP TODAY
First up this morning in your Miami Hurricanes news?
Well, add another to the commit list. Isaiah Thomas is on board as a Miami Hurricane, and we had that breaking news as well as an analysis of his play and his coach’s take. So don’t miss all that.
Another commitment came in basketball, this from 6-foot-7 Switzerland guard Kyshawn George. So don’t miss what coach Jim Larranaga has landed there.
With the football team, we also have your updated heights and weights from the spring … finally. So we look at who has gained weight and lost weight, etc. And there were quite a few! There’s also a list of key things we learned about this team during the 15 spring practice sessions and a closer look at Ray Ray Joseph and Rueben Bain you won’t want to miss.
Then we have an analysis of Miami’s national title odds. Basically the bottom line is “So you’re saying there’s a chance?”
In recruiting? As always, plenty more news there.
Miami’s offered Warner Robins (Ga.) Houston County 2025 quarterback Antwann Hill. He shares where the Canes fit into his thinking.
And while the majority of the programs recruiting La Grange (Ill.) Lyons Township 2024 prospect Eddie Tuerk on the defensive side of the ball, the Miami Hurricanes believe the three-star prospect can be a massive contributor as an offensive lineman at the collegiate level. He now has an offer and shares his thoughts.
The baseball team also lost a heartbreaker to FAU, 7-6, in extra innings.
And, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.

MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY
Two players not mentioned who had very solid spring game are… Posted by Trust
Jaden Harris at CB and Rocky Shelton at LB. If they were “hype guys” much would have been written about them. I rewatched the spring game and multiple times asked myself, who is #so and so.
Not saying they should start, but they clearly were as good as any starter and played well. Davonte Brown and Daryl Porter also were solid. I think Shelton looked better than Bissainthe. Hope coaches ignore the hype and just play the best guys. Reminds me of Mike Jackson ascending when no one really predicted it.
MIAMI HURRICANES QUOTE OF THE DAY
“He’s an elite athlete, very long and probably the biggest thing I saw was he saw the field. He can understand the route concepts and things we wanted to do, put himself in the right position to play. I coached 53 years, haven’t had many guys that naturally did that. He’s a kid that if I had him in the CFL the last couple of years I’d have started him. He’s faster than hell, durable, he can start basically anywhere he goes.”
