WHAT’S UP TODAY

First up this morning in your Miami Hurricanes news?

Today we start with an analysis of a question that all Miami Hurricanes football fans want to know: How many games will the team win this year? We actually have some metrics that we are using to come up with a number. So don’t miss reading all about that.

Then we stick with the football theme and continue our 50-1 countdown of the Miami players on the spring roster. Today we are up to No. 42, CB Chris Graves. Why did he rank there and what can he do to move up the list? Find out more on his situation.

Also, as always, there’s plenty of recruiting news.

A key Miami target is Lake Cormorant (Miss.) 2024 four-star defensive lineman Kamarion Franklin, the No. 36 overall prospect in the On3 Industry Ranking. He has locked in his official visit to Miami and the Canes are making a move with him. You don’t want to miss his take.

And Rogers (Minn.) Senior 2024 EDGE Wyatt Gilmore, the No. 4 Minnesota recruit in the On3 Industry Ranking, has locked in a Miami official visit, he told CaneSport. He discusses where the Canes fit into his thinking.

Then we catch up with La Grange (Ill.) Lyons Township 2024 defensive lineman Eddie Tuerk, who Miami is recruiting as an interior offensive lineman. He has locked in his official visit with the Hurricanes, he told CaneSport.

The Miami Hurricanes also recently made the top six for three-star 2024 Lancaster (Texas) High running back Kewan Lacy, along with TCU, Ole Miss, Baylor, Arizona State, and Nebraska. He breaks down why the ‘Canes have a legit shot to land his commitment.

Plus, with spring ball in the rearview mirror for the Miami Hurricanes, head coach Mario Cristobal and his staff have left a lasting impression on Plantation (Fla.) American Heritage four-star running back Byron Louis, who visited campus twice during the spring. Heritage is a huge key for Miami’s future success, and we can get an inkling on how things are going there from what Louis is talking about.

Another update? That’s with a commit. Miami co-defensive line coach Jason Taylor and secondary coach Jahmile Addae stopped by Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas earlier this week to check up on four-star Miami 2024 receiver commit Chance Robinson and 2024 On300 four-star Miami safety target Ryan Mack, among a bevy of other prospects. Read about that.

And, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.
