MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY
Our season will be determined by 2 things … Posted by sabrose
I am not worried about the offense. We have a great starter at qb, good backups, great rbs and receivers and a possibly dominant O line. Its the defense IMO that has the most question marks. The 2 things that will determine how they will fare are the ability to get to the QB and safety play. With Mesidor questionable ,how good will Alston and Barrow be opposite of Bain? If they get consistent pressure on the opposing Qbs it will take pressure off the entire defense. The other question mark is at safety with 2 new starters. Do they surprise with good production and increased speed or do they allow too many receptions? Our safeties last year were not very fast and allowed too many plays over the top. Those same 2 were worse the year before.
