WHAT’S UP TODAY
First up this morning in your Miami Hurricanes news?
There’s another massive visit weekend coming up, and we have several previews for you.
It starts with a 5-star visitor, Savannah (Ga.) Christian Prep defensive lineman Elijah Griffin. This is a massive chance for the Canes to land the nation’s top DL prospect, so don’t miss his take.
Also set to visit: Alpharetta (Ga.) Milton four-star quarterback Luke Nickel was the Miami Hurricanes first commit in the 2025 class, and this upcoming weekend the talented signal caller will be in Coral Gables for his official visit with the Canes. He has two programs working hard to flip him, so see what he’s saying about that.
And we catch up with Toms River (NJ) Toms River North four-star offensive tackle Jaelyne Matthews, who will also take his Miami OV this weekend. Be sure to check out his thoughts.
Plus we have another CaneSport Roundtable breakdown to check out, this time analyzing a perceived weak area, the secondary.

Also in recruiting?
Saint George (Utah) Pine View 2026 four-star tight end Brock Harris hasn’t narrowed down his list of schools yet, but as schools begin early recruiting pushes for the 6-foot-6, 240-pound prospect, Miami’s interest in him has helped the Hurricanes stand out. And he will be on campus this weekend. Find out what he’s saying.
And, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.

MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY
Recruiting class thoughts … Posted by cortez55403
For me, the big question marks in the upcoming class center on WRs and DBs. We need playmakers with NFL futures. Pickett is the jewell at Safety. Team him with Z Patterson and we just might be big time at the Safety spot In future years.
At WR, it’s a great year. Ffrench (second f is silent) is obviously talented but a little flaky. His decommitment and flirtation with multiple schools is worrisome. He likes Lambos. Watch out. Among the other receivers, I can’t gauge who are the better players. Just looking for 3 high caliber guys to join Nye, Ray Ray, Horton, Robinson, Trader et al. Imagine having 6 guys who can really ball out at WR!
