Plus we catch up with Birmingham (Ala.) Parker three-star cornerback Timothy Merritt. He will be down in Miami for an OV with the Hurricanes this upcoming weekend. He says a big reason for that is because of his relationship with cornerbacks coach Chevis Jackson. 

Another weekend visitor will be Orlando (Fla.) Christian Prep three-star offensive tackle Demetrius Campbell who is looking to spend a lot of time with players this weekend learning more about the Miami program

In basketball news, former Samford G A.J. Staton-McCray signed with Miami out of transfer portal. He becomes the 12th player on the 2024-25 roster.
