Miami hoops vs. La Salle today: How to watch, live stream, start time, TV channel
The Miami Hurricanes are off to a 7-2 start this season but have dropped two of the last four games in blowout fashion – to Kentucky, 95-73, and most recently against Colorado, 90-63. Miami is now set to face a La Salle team that enters with an 8-2 record and has one prior game against an ACC team this year, falling to Duke, 95-66.
How to watch?
You can watch the game scheduled for tipoff at 12 p.m. on The CW.
The Canes are led by four players averaging scoring in double figures – Wooga Poplar (16.5 PPG, 53.7 percent from three), Norchad Omier (16.1 PPG, 9.8 RPG), Matthew Cleveland (14.8 PPG, 64.8 percent shooting) and Nijel Pack (12.8 PPG, 3.9 APG). An issue for the Canes has been turnovers (13.6 per game), and defense and rebounding struggles have also popped up in the two losses. The team averages outscoring opponents 82.2-71.8.
On the La Salle side there also are four players who are scoring 10 or more points per game – Khalil Brantley (16.1 PPG, 5.6 RPG), Jhamir Brickus (15.6 PPG, 46.8 percent threes, 5.3 APG), Anwar Gill (12.3 PPG) and Daeshon Shepherd (10.2 PPG, 6.1 RPG). The Explorers average outscoring opponents 76.2-73.7 and get outrebounded by a margin of 38.6-36.5.
The game also will be broadcast on the radio on 560 AM.
