Alessio Milivojevic is staying at Michigan State - What It Means & What's Next

AST LANSING, Mich. - With redshirt-freshman QB Alessio Milivojevic indicating strongly that he plans to stay at Michigan State, with confirmation from his father, attention now turns to other Spartans who will be making their decisions in the coming days and weeks. On Thursday night, Milivojevic posted a three-word statement on Instagram: “Run it back …” Many Spartan fans took that to mean that Milivojevic plans to return to Michigan State next year, a decision that all Spartans are weighing in the wake of Jonathan Smith’s firing on Sunday and Pat Fitzgerald’s hiring on Monday. SpartanMag’s Jason Killop contacted Milivojevic’s father, Ivan Milivojevic, and asked if Alessio’s social media post is confirmation that he is staying at Michigan State. “Yes sir,” said Mr. Milivojevic, who is an assistant football coach at Wheaton (Ill.) St. Francis High School. Mr. Milivojevic posted on social media, Sunday, that he was “1000 percent” in disagreement with the firing of Smith.
