REACTION: Michigan State's Tom Izzo 'They beat the hell out of us early'

EAST LANSING, Mich. - Michigan State has had athletic and skillful challenges of various kinds in the young season, but previously unbeaten Iowa presented the Spartans with a physical test, Tuesday night. Michigan State took a standing eight count in the opening seconds, but then dominated the rest of the way in a 71-52 victory over Iowa, at Breslin Center.   “I thought physically they beat the hell out of us the first six or seven minutes,” said Michigan State head coach Tom Izzo. “We got punched in the mouth early.
