The new On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine is live, which means picks from The Wolverine experts EJ Holland and Tim Verghese are now available to the public.

Here is a closer look at their predictions for recruits to land at Michigan.

2022

WR Amorion Walker, Ponchatoula (La.) High

Walker is currently committed to Notre Dame. However, Michigan has remained a constant threat to flip him from the Irish all fall. Walker made a visit to Michigan in September for the game against Washington and is in constant contact with area recruiter Ron Bellamy, who is making an in home visit today. (Confidence 65%) — EJ

DB Keon Sabb, Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy

Sabb worked around Clemson’s no-visit policy and made his way to Ann Arbor for The Game a couple of weeks ago. Michigan moved the needle so much that Sabb backed out of his commitment to Clemson soon after. While Sabb has ben pretty quiet since opening things up, confidence around the Michigan program remains high ahead of his signing day decision. (Confidence 80%) — EJ

Michigan has been working behind the scenes on Sabb for a while now and hosted him for a visit while he was still committed to Clemson. Coming off his Clemson decommitment, with little time to look around before Dec. 15, Michigan’s efforts could prove fruitful come signing day. (Confidence 70%) — Tim

2023

OL Amir Herring, West Bloomfield (Mich.) High

Herring has made several visits to Michigan since thee beginning of the summer and most recently loved his time on campus for The Game. The On300 prospect has several ties to the program and played for Michigan assistant Ron Bellamy at West Bloomfield. An aspiring medical doctor, Herring also loves the prestigious academics at U-M. (Confidence: 80 %) — EJ

OL Dylan Senda, Dearborn (Mich.) Divine Child

Senda recently named Michigan in his final group and is set to make his decision later this month. While Michigan State was considered the early leader, Michigan’s strong offensive line play and magical season helped the Wolverines make a serious move for Senda. His recent visit for The Game was the icing on the cake. Michigan is now the team to beat. (Confidence 90%) — EJ

OL Sam Pendleton, Pfafftown (N.C.) Reagan

After visiting Michigan for the game against Ohio State, Pendleton stated that Michigan is the leader in his recruitment and would be hard to top. The love is mutual, and though he doesn’t have a timeline to shut things down, Michigan is going to be hard to catch in this recruitment. (Confidence 60 %) — Tim

2024

QB CJ Carr, Saline (Mich.) High (2024)

It’s early, but Michigan should certainly have the inside track for Carr. After all, the fast-rising sophomore is the grandson of former Michigan head coach Lloyd Carr and son of former Michigan quarterback Jason Carr. While he also holds offers from Michigan State, Notre Dame, Penn State and others, it’s hard not to see him following the family tradition. (Confidence 70 %) — EJ
