LOOK: Four-star Michigan RB commit Cole Cabana, family featured on SportsCenter

Michigan running back commit Cole Cabana comes from a household full of accomplished athletes, and SportsCenter recently acknowledged it by sharing a video about the Cabanas on its Instagram. The caption read, “Whole squad athletic.”
In addition to being a football standout, the four-star, in-state product is also an All-American in track at Dexter (Mich.) High. However, it’s mostly his parents and siblings getting the shine in this piece.
Cabana’s mother, Holly, was a two-sport athlete in college between basketball and volleyball while later being honored in her high school Hall of Fame. Mike, his father, walked on with Michigan State football before transferring to Albion (Division III) and winning a national championship.
Kylie and Kendall, his two sisters, have both been members of the Dexter High women’s basketball team. Kylie is currently with Ohio Northern University soccer, and Kendall is a state champion in soccer herself who competes in volleyball as well.

What Michigan is getting in Cole Cabana
Michigan landed the No. 3 overall in-state prospect and the No. 12 running back in this class, per the On3 Consensus. Cabana committed back in early February, choosing to call Ann Arbor home over the Spartans in East Lansing. His NIL valuation currently sits at $33k, which has jumped over $20k this month alone, behind over 3k followers on Twitter and 13k on Instagram.
Dexter (Mich.) High head coach Phil Jacobs: “He’s a very special player. He’s kind of a generational player that you only coach every so often. His skill set is through the roof. When he sees that hole, he puts his foot in the dirt and gets north and south. You’re not going to catch him on the football field. His skill set as a pass catcher is equally as impressive. He’s the high school version of (Christian) McCaffrey. He can run, he can catch and he’s pretty explosive.”
