INSIDE THE FORT, PART II: Michigan football intel, QBs, NIL and more

Chris Balasby: Chris Balas11/06/21Balas_Wolverine

The latest edition of INSIDE THE FORT … part II this time, our football version.

Michigan is coming off a Michigan State game that took a lot out of the team, both emotionally and physically. A number of guys were limited in practice this week, and quarterback Cade McNamara was particularly banged up (but he’ll be out there and good to go).

J.J. McCarthy continues to get more and more reps, and there is no change in the way the coaches plan to use these two guys. On the contrary, in fact … we expect to continue to see even more of the true freshman going forward, with more of the playbook at his disposal.

Also, we discuss some major developments with Michigan and the Name, Image and Likeness game. Several Wolverines are expected to benefit soon, and in a big way, with NIL.
