Michigan basketball’s roster is still coming together for the 2022-23 season, but now the program knows its draw in conference play. The Big Ten announced the opponents its teams would take on for the upcoming season on Thursday afternoon with a look at the Wolverines’ slate.

Michigan will play single home games against Nebraska, Ohio State and Purdue at Crisler Center with one-off road games at Illinois, Iowa and Rutgers. The Wolverines will take on Michigan State, Indiana, Maryland, Minnesota, Northwestern, Penn State and Wisconsin in home-and-home series.

Dates and times were not made available during the announcement. The rest of the non-conference slate will be revealed at a later date.

Michigan’s non-conference schedule is still a work in progress. The Wolverines will play in the Legends Classic on Nov. 16-17 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Arizona State, Pittsburgh and VCU are the other teams involved. Other headline events will be the team’s Dec. 4 contest against Kentucky in London, England and the Dec. 21 Jumpman Invitational against North Carolina.

Michigan is coming off a 19-15 season in 2021-22 that was capped off by the program’s fifth-straight trip to the Sweet 16. This was short of expectations coming into the year. However, with many familiar faces returning the hope is the Wolverines will regain their championship pedigree in 2022-23.

Below are the full draws for the rest of the conference.
