Michigan basketball takes on the Minnesota Golden Gophers on Sunday afternoon in Ann Arbor looking for win No. 11 on the 2022-23 season. Michigan assistant coach Howard Eisley and sophomore forward Will Tschetter discussed the game Saturday during Zoom sessions with the media.

Chief among the critical updates came along the injury front. Michigan will be without a pair of scholarship players in Sunday’s game with freshman wing Youssef Khayat dealing with an ankle injury and junior forward Jace Howard still in concussion protocol. However, sophomore guard Kobe Bufkin is expected to play after a hand injury suffered at Maryland.

Tschetter discussed his expanding role with the team, learning how to communicate on defense and much more. Their full sessions can be seen below.
