Michigan men’s basketball grabbed a 78-68 win over Jackson State on Wednesday night to move to 5-1 on the young season. The effort had a solid 30 minutes in the middle bookended by 5-minute stretches at the beginning and end of the game that made things a bit too close for comfort.

Head coach Juwan Howard, along with graduate point guard Jaelin Llewellyn (9 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists) and freshman wing Jett Howard (19 points, 6-of-10 shooting, 4-of-7 from 3-point range) spoke to the media in Ann Arbor after the contest. Below are their full takeaways from the win and what to improve on ahead of next week’s matchup with Virginia in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.
