Michigan women’s basketball all-time great Naz Hillmon, who already has NIL deals with RITZ Crackers and Outback Steakhouse, has signed with Klutch Sports Group ahead of the 2022 WNBA draft.

Hillmon is the most impactful player in Michigan women’s basketball history.

If 2021 Big Ten Player of the Year doesn’t say enough, she also heads to the next level as the all-time leader in rebounds, double-doubles and free throws made. This star forward is the only player in program history to earn first-team All-American honors from the Associated Press and the only U-M product (male or female) to notch 2,000 career points and 1,000 career rebounds.

Before the Cleveland native made Ann Arbor home, Michigan had never never danced with the last sixteen teams standing. Hillmon now exits having led the Maize and Blue to back-to-back Sweet Sixteen appearances and its first-ever Elite Eight berth this season.

Michigan made every NCAA tournament during her illustrious career. On March 31, Hillmon announced she will not be utilizing her COVID-19 bonus year and has officially entered her name into the WNBA draft.

Goodbye Michigan, Hello WNBA

Hillmon wrote: “To the most amazing fans on God’s green earth, thank you for your love and support. As I move forward into the next chapter of my life, I look forward to bringing all of you with me. I’m truly humbled by the unity of the U-M community! With that being said, I am humbled to announce that I have entered my name into the WNBA draft! I am forever grateful for the opportunities that I have had, the people that I have met and the lifelong experience that Michigan has afforded to me. Forever ‘Go Blue’!”

Klutch Sports, led by prominent sports agent Rich Paul, announced Hillmon’s deal with the agency the following day.

The 22-year-old prospect is a potential first-round pick, and we’ll soon learn where Hillmon lands when draft coverage airs Monday, April 11 at 7:00 p.m. ET (ESPN).

Next objective: hang No. 00 in the rafters.
