Michigan flips legacy QB Tommy Carr away from Miami (Ohio)

Three-star Saline (Mich.) High quarterback Tommy Carr has flipped his commitment from Miami (Ohio) to Michigan.
Carr is the grandson of former Michigan head coach Lloyd Carr, who led U-M to a national title, and the younger brother of Notre Dame quarterback CJ Carr.
Michigan already holds a commitment from one quarterback in three-star Newberry Park (Calif.) High signal-caller Brady Smigiel. However, Smigiel suffered an ACL injury this season, and the Wolverines are in need of more depth at the position.
Tommy had a strong senior season, leading Saline to a 10-2 record and an appearance in the state playoffs. He passed for 2,797 yards and 37 touchdowns with only five interceptions. He also rushed for 300 yards and eight scores
