The Michigan Wolverines took down the Washington Huskies 24-7 on Saturday in Ann Arbor, and are now back in the AP Poll as a result. U-M is now the No. 25 team in the country after falling out of the poll last week.

Five teams in the Big Ten, including the Wolverines, are ranked after the Week 8 slate of games. Ohio State sits at No. 1, while Indiana moved up to No. 2. Oregon is back up to No. 6, while Illinois (No. 23) and Michigan hold things down at the back of the rankings. USC, who climbed into the top-25 last week after beating U-M, is unranked after a 34-24 loss at Notre Dame.

The Washington victory helped put some juice back into the Michigan program down the stretch.

“What a win. It’s fun,” Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore said. “That was a fun win, a fun win to be a part of. Our players, we talked in the locker room. We talked after the game at USC about just being all in and trusting each other, trusting the process. And we had some tough conversations throughout the week, offensively, defensively, of what we need to do and how we need to adjust and how we need to play better.

“And the response by our coaches, one, our offensive coordinator, our defensive coordinator, our offensive staff, defensive staff was outstanding. But more importantly, our players, our players played with their hair on fire, played with detail, played with great fundamentals. And I’m just really proud of our kids, man, really, really proud of our kids and how they played.”

Here is the full poll released on Sunday afternoon following the Week 8 slate of games. Each week’s AP Poll will be released on Sunday at 2 p.m. ET for the rest of the season.
